The art of candle labelling

Much more than just a decorative object, a candle creates an atmosphere and evokes a sense of serenity. Whether decorative or scented, discreet or imposing, a high-end candle engages multiple senses. Its labelling isn't a detail — it extends the emotion the candle conveys from the moment it is lit, perfectly harmonizing with its design and sensory universe, reinforcing its ability to anchor and connect to the present moment.

For years, we have worked alongside the most prestigious candle brands, adapting our techniques to a variety of surfaces — glass, metal, ceramic… We bring our full expertise to offer solutions that are both functional and aesthetic, elevating these highly decorative objects.

Wax seal effect doming, Collines de Provence

Doming
The doming technique creates beautiful relief effects and allows for various finishes, such as a wax seal effect, reminiscent of the warmth of a flame once used to melt wax. Beyond its visual appeal, resin is highly resistant — it withstands both heat and humidity — while adding a modern, elegant touch that enhances the product’s premium image. Its slightly soft and textured feel enriches the sensory experience of the candle, introducing a tactile dimension to an object that primarily engages sight and smell.

Metal plates
Metal plates are particularly well suited for high-end candle labelling, as they enhance their refined nature. It's all about contrast: the coldness of metal against the warmth of the flame, its metallic finish — whether polished or brushed — against the matte softness of wax. Timeless and nearly eternal, metal interacts with the ephemeral nature of the candle, reinforcing its precious character. Flexible or rigid, metal plates offer sophisticated finishes — embossing, engraving, cutting, or combination with other materials — for a luxurious and unique result, adaptable to all candle styles.

Faux leather, Herbes aromatiques

Natural materials
With the growing popularity of natural wax candles and clean-burning wicks, the candle industry is one of the luxury markets most concerned with its environmental impact. Our labels made from natural materials align perfectly with this movement, offering a wide range of textures and finishes suited to all surfaces and aesthetics. Leather and stone, for example, with their robust and almost primal appearance, echo the element of fire. These materials enhance the natural and raw aspect of a candle’s aromas while reinforcing its organic dimension, bringing together luxury, elegance, and simplicity.

3D letters
Exuding exceptional finesse, 3D lettering and decorative elements (Transprints or Transcripts A.T.) represent the most refined and elegant labelling option. These features create a pure and almost aerial aesthetic, perfectly complementing the candle’s soothing and meditative nature. Their minimalist design highlights the purity of the product while enhancing it with a discreet form of luxury. These markings are especially valued for their ability to convey a sense of serenity and sophistication while remaining delicate to the touch. A wide variety of finishes is available — metallic, matte, or glossy — allowing the relief to suit any atmosphere and add a subtle shimmer or softness, depending on each client’s vision and wish.
