We all know that tomorrow\u2019s packaging must be sustainable.\nBut how can we innovate without drawing further on natural resources? By giving new life to what already exists.\nThat\u2019s the principle behind by-products<\/strong>: materials already extracted and already used in other production cycles, now repurposed within a circular logic. A different way of creating: more respectful, more regenerative, and not extractive.
The result? A naturally textured finish \u2013 mineral, raw yet vibrant \u2013 that evokes the sea and tells a distinctive story. In our opinion, this is one of the materials of the future for brands committed to eco-responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technical features<\/strong><\/strong>
\u2022 Material: composite made of 50% oyster shells and 50% bio-based polymer (plant-derived, petroleum-free)
\u2022 Colours: several natural shades depending on the origin and treatment of the shells, with custom colour development possible
\u2022 Look & feel: mineral, lightly grained, rigid
\u2022 Finishes: matte, lacquered, or polished
\u2022 Format: fully customisable (shape, dimensions, moulding)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications & inspiration<\/strong><\/strong>
Ostrealis is both sustainable and full of narrative potential, suiting a wide range of uses.\nWe\u2019ve prototyped it as a seal for the watchmaking sector, but many other applications are possible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 A medallion for champagne bottles, where its marine and mineral texture evokes earth, chalk and deep cellars...
\u2022 A hanging tag for perfumes bottles \u2013 like a precious fragment from the sea, adding depth to the sensory experience
\u2022 A medallion on the ribbon of high-end candles, where the warmth of the flame meets the freshness of a mineral material
\u2022 A jewellery-like pendant or accessory \u2013 for brands that care about storytelling, down to the last detail
\u2022 A mark of authenticity for limited editions (cosmetics, spirits, art objects\u2026)
